How to Paste a Picture of a Website on Another Website

- 3). Take a screen capture of the website. Take the screen capture on a Mac using 1 of 2 options:

2. Apple button + SHIFT + 4 to use a cursor to select the portion of the screen you wish to create an image of. Again, this will create a JPEG file that will be saved to your desktop.
Take a screen capture on a Windows PC using 1 of 2 options:
1. Press the PRINT SCREEN button on the keyboard to copy the entire screen, or
2. Press ALT + PRINT SCREEN to copy an active window.
With both options on a PC you will need to open Paint or another picture editing software, paste in the screen capture and save it to create an image file. - 4). Open the page on your website into which you wish to add the image of the other website. You can do this using an edit option in your web hosting service for the page in question.
- 5). Insert the picture of the website into your website. Depending on your host, you may have to upload the image to your web server first, then insert it using HTML. With others you can select it directly from your computer using the page edit options.
- 6). Resize the image as needed and save your work.
