    • 1). Click on the "Start" button at the bottom left-corner of the screen. Click "Computer."

    • 2). Right-click the hard drive in which occurred the cyclic redundancy error.

    • 3). Click "Check now" under the "Tools" tab.

    • 4). Click "Start" while using the default settings. The error will be removed when the scan says that it is complete.
