    • 1). Load your Internet browser and conduct an image search for the Pillsbury Doughboy. Try to find an image that will cover a whole page and then print it.

    • 2). Use scissors to cut out the figure of the Pillsbury Doughboy. Place the paper-made stencil atop the white fabric, and trace the image onto the fabric using a pen. Repeat this step so you have two forms of the Doughboy.

    • 3). Cut the two Pillsbury Doughboy forms from the fabric and lay them evenly on top of one another.

    • 4). Thread the needle with the waxed linen thread, and sew the two pieces together by stitching around the outline of the form. Leave the top of the head unstitched so it can be stuffed.

    • 5). Stuff the batting inside the fabric to give the doll form. Push the fabric through the open, unstitched hole in top of the doll's head and arrange it to make the form uniform.

    • 6). Use the needle and thread to stitch an upward curved line onto the head to represent a mouth.

    • 7). Cut two eye holes into the fabric and fill the holes with glue. Place the two black glass beads into the glue-filled holes to attach the eyes to the doll.

    • 8). Sew the hole in the top of the head closed and cut seven 3-inch lengths of thread. Tie the pieces of thread tightly around the joints of the head, arms, legs and hat of the doll to define its appendages. Cut any excess thread, and you have made a soft doll replica of the Pillsbury Doughboy.
