How to Monitor a Home Phone
- 1). Install a phone system that shows when the phone is being used. Most mid-level home phones will indicate when the phone line is being used, allowing you to see when someone is using the line.
- 2). Connect a recording device to the phone. This will allow you to hear any conversation that has been made using the phone.
- 3). Review the call log for the phone. You can keep track of what numbers the phone has dialed. If you have Caller ID, the call log will also keep track of any number that has called the phone as well.
