A Reminder to Stay Hopeful

In light of the ongoing tragedies and misfortunes that seem to be occurring all over the world, I ask you all to stay positive.
Whatever difficulties that you might be facing at work, at home, or even at school, are all problems that will be solved with time.
I assure you that things will get better! Recently, there has been several shootings, bombings, death threats, etc.
, and I for one see no reason for them; I think you can agree with me on that.
I find it becomes harder for us to get up every morning and leave their homes without having the uncertainty that they and their families will return home safe and sound at the end of the day.
Sometimes it feels like one cannot trust their neighbors, their friends, or even their own family members.
It's a tough thing to admit, but I know many people feel this way.
I, personally, have this feeling deep in my heart that tells me otherwise.
Though life really hits me hard sometimes, I'm always amazed at how things tend to improve drastically afterward.
I know this doesn't just apply to me, but to people and families all over the world.
Sure there are going to be deaths and a lot of pain and suffering, as it is inevitable, but in the end you become stronger for it; you learn from it! I know it's very difficult for you to lose someone you love, but we have all been there.
Yes it hurts, and it will take quite a bit of time to heal those wounds, but no one can turn back time, and no one is immortal.
Though things seem to be getting more difficult as the days go by, and the streets appear much less safe nowadays, you have to really look beyond that.
Instead, turn to your close friends and family, and surround yourself with their love and affection; surround yourself with the positivity that you deserve in your life.
Once we can get past all of the negative energy that threatens our day-to-day lives, then we can finally learn to come together and become a more united community.
The world is full of people with varying thoughts and ideas, as well as looks; we are all foreigners to each other.
We just have to be able to accept their differences and embrace them as people.
Things will get better, I promise you! But, we have to be open to making the world a better and more welcoming place.
Together, we can get through this time of darkness.
Remember: "The endurance of darkness is preparation for great light"
