How to Use ATG Tape
- 1). Place the tape on the spool so the tape will rotate in a counterclockwise direction when pulled through the dispenser. Run the lead of the tape over the roller closest to the tape and under the roller near the tape outlet. Pull the liner, the non-adhesive cover removed as the tape is applied, over the spool nearest the outlet and connect it to the take-up reel within the gun.
- 2). Pull the trigger to release the brakes on the spools and press the front roller against the item you are taping. Move the tape gun along the area where tape is desired while continuing to hold the roller against the item and continuing to hold the trigger. The tape should adhere to the project while the cover of the second side of the tape automatically is pulled free and accumulates in the gun.
- 3). Release the trigger and pull the gun away from the project to break the tape.
