How To Make Tequila Sunrise
- 1). Half fill your highball glass with ice cubes or crushed ice.
- 2). Add one measure of tequila. A standard single measure is 25 ml.
- 3). Top up with fresh orange juice to a little below the rim of the glass.
- 4). Put a flat-handled spoon into the glass and add the grenadine quickly so it runs down the back side of the spoon and sinks straight to the bottom of the glass. This will color the orange juice, creating the "sunrise" effect.
- 5). Garnish with a slice or wedge of fresh orange or a cherry.
