How to Install a Delco Radio
- 1). Push down the parking brake pedal. Place your key in the ignition and turn it to the "on" position. Do not start the truck. Shift the column shifter to the bottom position. Tilt the steering column down using the lever on the left side of the column.
- 2). Pull the bezel that goes around the radio and the a/c controls using your hands. Lift the bezel off of the dashboard and set it aside.
- 3). Hold down the tabs on the sides of the stereo and pull the factory radio out of the dashboard. Unplug the antenna and wiring from the backside, then remove the stereo from the car. Plug the Delco stereo into the wiring harness and antenna, then slide it into the dashboard.
- 4). Push the bezel back onto the dashboard. Shift the column shifter back into the park position and turn the truck off.
