    • 1). Multiply the negative Celsius temperature by nine. For example, if the temperature is 12 degrees Celsius below zero then 12 x 9 = 108.

    • 2). Subtract the value obtained in Step 1 from 160. In our example, 160 - 108 = 52.

    • 3). Divide the value obtained in Step 2 by five to calculate the temperature in Fahrenheit; In our example, 52 / 5 = 10.4 Fahrenheit.
