Divide multiple strands coming out from the bullwhip handle into three equal sections, If there are such strands. - 3

Separate the three stranded sections so that one is placed on the left-hand side, one on the right-hand side and one in the middle. Take the strands on the left-hand side and place them over the middle section, so that they now lay in the middle of the three stranded sections. Take the section of strands on the right-hand side and place them over the middle section, so that they now lie in the middle section. Repeat this process until you have braided the entire length of the bullwhip. - 4

Use one of the leather strands to tie a double knot around the end of the bullwhip. Trim off any excess strands with the scissors.
