Unsure About Having Cataract Lens Implantation?
If you go into the forums for post cataract surgery patients, you can read many of them expressing regrets about their lens implant.
At the Topix Forum, Mary from Texas relates: €It has been 6 months since my surgery, sight worsening instead of improving, blurry vision and flickering is back have some pain around my eye seems like it is on my eyebrow and down around to check bone area€¦ constant battle with dry eyes and eyes very sensitive to fluorescent lights. Doctor said I have membranes on both eyes, I wonder why he did not advice me not to have the implants?.€
Juliana of South Africa also relates: €I had my cataract operation last year and before that I could see much better. I am half blind now and my doctor just says there is nothing he can do about it!€
In the same forum, patients from various countries reported about cloudy vision not helped by follow-up laser treatment or cases of intermittent cloudiness - some days it is clear for a while but ends up cloudy, on other days, it is clear all the time. Others experienced flickering or flashing lights on the operated eye even if their doctor said there is nothing wrong with the eyes! For some, it went away with time, but some had it for already 2 years and the flickering and flashing remained which bothered them a lot.
The potential reasons are many and indecisive. Some suspect that it is due to the type of lens implanted. Others suspect an inflammation inside the eye. In case of lens issues, replacement means having to undergo surgery again.
If you do not want to feel the same regrets experienced by those who had lens implants that went bad, then try this alternative remedy.
Ethos Bright Eyes eye drops for Cataracts with N-Acetyl-Carnosine dissolves cataracts without invasive surgery as featured in UK national TV Judy and Richard show. Bright Eyes for Cataracts has the super anti-oxidant carnosine to also rejuvenate dying eye cells and result is improvement in vision.
If you are the brave soul that insists on surgery, be sure not to have it on both eyes at once. In case it fails on one eye, then use our typical drops to clear the cataracts on the second eye. To prevent complications on the operated eye, apply Bright Eyes for Cataracts when your anti-biotic eye drops prescription runs out. Bright Eyes also prevents the onset of secondary cataracts or post-operative glaucoma on the operated eye.
