It"s Pool Season - Make it a Safe One

Summer is finally arriving and we're all getting ready for the hot weather.
Suntan lotion, running shoes, and sunglasses; there's nothing like a beautiful summer day.
For home owners it's a particularly good time of year, it's time to consider the pool.
It's generally a matter of cleaning and refilling for those who already own a pool, but for the new pool buyer it's a time to visualize your way to cool pleasure in the hot sun.
Either way, you need to make sure that your current pool (or potential pool) will be safe for use.
Nothing ruins a summer day like an injury.
For parents, safety is of the utmost importance.
The general rules always apply at the pool.
Don't run, no horseplay, etc.
But to really make your pool safe, you should install a fence and gate.
The gate should be secure and the style of fence should be of a material that resists moisture well.
Wood and wrought iron are poor choices for pool fence as they tend to crack, warp, chip, and rust (in the case of iron).
Aluminum is the material of choice for this particular project because of its durability and resistance to moisture and high levels of UV (it is summer, after all).
Flat topped aluminum fences are ideal for around the pool as they offer security, aesthetic appeal, and a convenient rail to hold onto.
Aluminum fence is easy to install and cost effective for the home owner.
The increase in property value that an aluminum fence brings makes the investment well worth it, particularly considering the extremely long life-time of the product.
Installation can even be done yourself.
But the most important part of aluminum is that it does not "give", not even a little.
Once it's in, it's secure and it will stay that way...
giving you a care free day by the pool.
