Removing a Primary Google Account

• 1). Press the "Home" button.
  
  
• 2). Tap the applications option on your phone's display. This option is a blue icon with four squares in it.
  
  
• 3). Press "Settings," then "Privacy," then "Factory data reset," and then "Reset phone."
  
  
• 4). Tap "Erase everything" when your phone confirms that you do want to factory reset your phone.
  
  
• 5). Wait for the reset to complete. Afterward, your phone will return to the "Home" screen.
  
  

Removing Any Other Google Account

• 1). Press the "Home" button.
  
  
• 2). Tap the applications option on your phone's display. This option is a blue icon with four squares in it.
  
  
• 3). Press "Settings," then "Accounts and sync."
  
  
• 4). Select the account you want to reset.
  
  
• 5). Tap "Remove account" and confirm the removal.
  
  
• 6). Press the "Home" button.
  
  

Adding the Account Back

• 1). Press the "Menu" button from the "Home" screen and tap "Settings," then "Accounts and sync." The "Menu" button is the one on the far left.
  
  
• 2). Tap "Add account," then "Google, then "Next," and then "Sign in."
  
  
• 3). Type in your username and password, and tap "Sign in." After a moment, your phone will return to the "Accounts and sync section." If you tap on your Google account, you can change the sync options for your email, contacts, calendar and other settings.
