How to Decorate the Area Between Two Doors
- 1). Place a table between two doors. Choose a table that fits between the two doors and doesn't obstruct their use. Place the table against the wall in this area and display decorative items on it, such as candles, bowls filled with potpourri, photographs and collectibles.
- 2). Hang pictures on the wall between two doors. If the space between the two doors is small, choose a long, narrow picture to display in this area. If there is a good amount of space, hang a grouping of pictures, creating a collage effect.
- 3). Place a large floor urn on the floor between two doors. Choose a decorative urn that coordinates with the style of the space. Fill the urn with a potted plant, dried flowers or fresh-cut flowers.
- 4). Lean a ladder against the space between the two doors. Choose a ladder that has wide steps. Place the ladder against the wall and repurpose it into a display shelf; set photographs, figurines and vases on the steps of the ladder.
