- Bachelor of Design is a 36-month program offered by the Raffles Design International in Mumbai. The degree is awarded by the Raffles College of Design and Commerce, Australia, and the admissions take place four times a year; October, January, April and July. The program covers concepts like evolution of design, materials and methods of manufacture, design patterns from the primitive to renaissance days and other fundamentals of design. It covers practical problems relating to interior schemes and designs for offices, homes and shops. Admission into this program is through an entrance test and a personal interview.
- This diploma course offered by the Instituti Callegari Milano, Mumbai, is suitable for participants who are working in the industrial and handicraft businesses and design studios and are willing to upgrade their designing skills. The course would provide in-depth knowledge of concepts like exhibit design, interior planning, furnishings and accessories. The length of the course is 162 hours and successful completion would award the students with a certificate, which would qualify them as interior designers.
