Gluten Free Pizza

Gluten can therefore act as a sort of opiate, drastically affecting behavior. These same doctors surmise that if gluten is taken out of the diet, it will reduce the body's mishandling of the gluten-morphine misread, thus improving behavior.

Leaky gut syndrome can lead to behavioral and social difficulties. Depression or irritability is often the most apparent non-physical symptoms. Children especially may exhibit strong, negative emotional outbursts.

Physical symptoms associated with gluten or wheat sensitivity include: gas, bloating and stomach pains, cramps or diarrhea, or even vomiting. These may indicate that you may suffer from gluten-intolerance associated with leaky gut syndrome.

Sensitivity to wheat/gluten can also lead to headache or a generally feeling run-down.

In a very real sense, we are what we eat. If numerous studies confirm that a gluten-free diet improves the quality of life for gluten intolerant people, isn't a change of diet worth the effort? Any remedy, however slight, is beneficial!

At the very least, a gluten-free diet will not only make you feel a lot healthier but increase energy and concentration levels as well.

Want gluten free pizza? Unfortunately gluten is found inside pizza dough. This causes pizza to be a very poor choice when trying to lose weight and trim up. The gluten mixed with the high amount of carbs and calories AND the cheese is not the best combination. But... pizza is delicious, isn't it? So how can we re-create pizza so it is a tad bit healthier for us? The answer: remove the gluten and switch to rice cheese!

Gluten Free Pizza does exist and it isn't difficult to make. With gluten-free dough, rice cheese and some healthy veggies for toppings, you can make a world of difference in the quality of your pizza! It will be much healthier!

Below I've included my recipe for a delicious, easy to make pizza with no additives!

Jenni's Pizza Crust

1 cup hot water and 1 pack yeast (place yeast pack in hot water till it becomes frothy. Water should be about 130 degrees)

3 Cups Pamela's baking mix

2 Tablespoons Whole Foods Pizza Spice, Italian Seasoning, OR Trader Joe's "21 Season Solute"

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon Agave

Mix all ingredients together in a big bowl except cheese and pepperoni. Kneed into a ball and use rolling pin to roll it out into pizza shape, about ??" thick. Remember, thin crust will cook FASTER. (You want this dough soft but not STICKY. If as you mix and kneed it sticks A LOT to your fingers, add more Gluten-Free flour.)

Place dough on a greased (use Ghee) cookie sheet and place in preheated oven for 15 minutes, Remove from oven, add sauce and toppings. Bake for 10-15 minutes until crust is golden on edges and cheese is melted. Slice, serve, and enjoy!

Good question.

It would be easier to say what you can'teat!

But the question is, what can you eat. So let's start there.

Well, for a start, obviously you can eat meat, poultry and game. That's unprocessed meat. Avoid burgers, sausages, grill steaks and similar items, as they almost always contain filler which is wheat based (though the highest quality may be gluten free - check the label for anything like wheat, flour, starch, and in particular monosodium glutamate).

If you like gravy, ketchup or sauce with your meat, take care.
