It Only Takes Five More Minutes To Get An "A"

What if I told you that your grades would drastically improve just by attending class for 5 minutes more a class? I know you probably don't believe me; just read the four reasons below and begin to harness the power of five minutes.
First, arriving to class early will help you gain favor with the professor.
They will see you as a student that is prepared and ready to work.
When grades are released, there will be a noticeable increase due to this technique.
Second, you will be ready mentally.
With those few extra minutes; you have time to relax.
A clear mind can actively hear what the teacher is presenting; the class as a whole will be easier to comprehend.
As the class continues, you will find it takes less time to study and class as a whole makes a lot more sense to you.
Third, you have time to implement your "game plan".
In my audio book Beyond the Books: A Method For Improving Your Grades Without Studying Your Life Away (available at http://www.

), I tell students to take these five minutes and review the notes and the next reading sections.
This will allow you to actively participate in discussion.
You will be able to ask questions that help the class as a whole and give the impression you understand the material.
In addition, test preparation will be almost a 'no-brainer' because you mind learned the material as you were in class! Lastly, you can use this time to build study relationships with your fellow students.
Let's face it: many students are afraid when in college and let that mindset take-over in their heads.
Helping them to relax can net a great friend that may last a lifetime.
I candidly remember when I was in college and how some classes exposed the fear of God within me! It was nice that some students 'coached' me through and that my mind was allowed to relax.
I thank them right now; each and every one.
For a minor five extra minutes, you will see a great improvement in your grades and the whole college experience.
From my standpoint, you can't afford not to get to class five minutes early.
It can very easily be the difference between a "D" and a "B"; some professors take this 'unwritten skill' very seriously and the grades reflect that.
Now do you believe me?
