    • 1). Unravel some of the leather lace and hold it around your ankle. Cut this length with your scissors. You don't want the leather to be too loose, as the crimp ends and the closure will add some length to your anklet.

    • 2). String your beads on the leather lace you cut. Arrange them in the direct center. Use your needle-nose pliers to pry open one of the crimp beads. Place it on one side of your group of beads and crimp it down with the pliers. Do the same on the other side. If you don't want to crimp the beads, you can tie a knot, or simply leave them loose. The crimp bead keeps the other beads in place.

    • 3). Open one of the crimp ends with your pliers, fit it over one end of your anklet and crimp down on it with the pliers. Do the same for the other end of the leather and the other crimp end. You'll have an anklet with two metal ends that have loops on them.

    • 4). Open one of the jump rings and slide it through the hoop on one of the crimp ends and the hoop on one half of your lobster claw closure, Close the jump ring. Do the same on the other side of the anklet, with the other half of the lobster claw closure on the other end of the anklet.
