How to Glue Floating Wood Floors
- 1). Find the corner where you will install your first laminate plank. The grooved side of the plank should go toward the wall.
- 2). Add a drop of glue to the seam where you will install your second plank, then snap your second plank into place by sliding the groove onto the tongue of the first plank. Snap it down toward the floor.
- 3). Use a damp cloth to wipe up any excess glue that seeps up onto the wood floor.
- 4). Repeat this process for every plank that you install. Add glue between each wood flooring plank during the installation process.
- 5). Wait 12 hours for the glue to dry before you walk on the floor.
