Battery Life

• A faulty or weak battery is a common problem with Samsung MP3 players. After a few years of use, or if they're exposed to excessive heat, they may show signs of degradation. A weak or faulty battery will not hold a charge and need to be recharged constantly. Most Samsung players have built-in batteries, so replacing them can be tricky. Some online stores sell batteries, but make sure you match the battery with the specific model of your player to ensure compatibility.
  
  When charging your battery, charge it early and often to ensure a long life. Every few months, you can let it drain completely and recharge to re-calibrate the internal power monitoring circuitry. This will give you a more accurate reading of remaining battery power. • Connecting your Samsung portable player to your computer can be tricky. Install the proper software and drivers before hooking it up. Once the software is installed properly, simply hook up the device via the USB cable to open the Samsung software to transfer files.
