Instructions

1

Draw an upside down "V" at the bottom of your paper that begins about 1/2 inch in from each corner. The point should end in the middle of the paper and be about a 1/2 inch to 1 inch below the center mark. Use a ruler to draw straight lines.
2

Turn your paper upside down and repeat Step 1.
3

Add the same "V"-shapes on the short side of your paper to the left and right. Again, begin about 1/2 inch from the top and bottom of the paper. This process forms the St. Andrew's Cross that the rebel flag was modeled after.
4

Trace a thin border around the "V's" that compose your your St. Andrew's cross.
5

Insert the white stars inside the bars of the cross. Place one star in the center and three more evenly spaced on either side of the cross in each direction.
6

Color the rebel flag. The stars stay white as does the slim border around each "V"-shape. The bars of the St. Andrew's cross are blue and the remaining triangles are red.
