Hi, everyone. My name is Joi, Makeup Artist in New York, and today I'm going to tell you all how to sharpen a twist-up eyeliner. So, I have of course the mechanical or twist-up eyeliner; I have a little bit of alcohol here. Just to start off with this types of liners, you won't necessarily be using a regular liner sharpener with them. But, one thing that you can do, do to make sure that everything is sanitary and your point is sharp for you to use is you twist it up a little bit and of course, we always want to start with making sure that everything is sanitary. So, I'm going to spritz it a bit with alcohol and then, I'm going to take this and I'm just going to twirl it on a paper towel and I'm doing it in a circular motion and that is actually going to make the end just a bit pointier so that you get a sharper line. So, just do that; check it out, make sure that it's getting a bit pointier for you, do that a couple of times and that should make the application a bit clearer and cleaner for you.
