Housing Opportunity Program Extension Act
- The act authorized the owner of any multi-family housing facility to request further assistance under the United States Housing Act of 1937. This request could be granted for one year.
- The act increased the limits imposed by the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974. The cumulative limit was increased to $4,500,000.
- The Housing Opportunity Program Extension Act simply extended the benefits of the Housing Act of 1949. This act set the benefits to expire in 1996.
