Find a thin piece of cardboard. This can be anything from an old cereal box to a soap box. - 2

Measure a three-inch by five-inch rectangle on the piece of cardboard, and trace it with a pencil. - 3). Cut the rectangle out of the sheet using scissors.
- 4). Load the hot glue gun, and begin heating it up.
- 1). Hold the piece of cardboard vertically. Then, fold the bottom of the cardboard up two-inches. When folded, you should have a three-inch wide by three-inch tall square.
- 2). Unfold the cardboard.
- 3). Make a half-inch long cut directly on the crease of the cardboard on either side. Then, cut half of an inch off each side of the cardboard, from the crease down to the bottom edge. You should be left with a piece of cardboard that is three-inches by three-inches on the top and two-inches by two-inches on the bottom.
- 4). Fold a half-inch flap inwards along each side of the widest part of the cardboard. After folding, you should have a two-inch wide by five-inch long piece of cardboard.
- 5). Refold the bottom of the cardboard up two-inches (along the crease that was made previously).

Squeeze a thin line of glue on top of each half-inch flap. - 2). Refold the bottom of the cardboard up two-inches (along the crease that was made previously). Press the two-inch flap of cardboard against the glued half-inch flaps.
- 3). Hold the cardboard pieces together, until the glue dries.
- 4). Fold the top one-inch flap down over the wallet. This will serve as the fastening flap.
- 1). Unpeel the backings off of the Velcro squares.
- 2). Apply each side of the adhesive Velcro squares to the coin purse. Place one square on the inside of the one-inch flap and the other square directly underneath it, on the main body of the purse.
- 3). Press the flap against the coin purse to ensure that the Velcro sticks.
