How to Set up a Sony 55 SXRD
- 1). Connect the Sony 55 SXRD to a local power outlet. It is best to use a surge protector to protect your television from electrical storms.
- 2). Contact your local cable/satellite provider and opt for the HD service. This usually costs around $10 extra a month but gives you the HD service. You may also want to spring for a high definition Blu-ray player and HD video game system.
- 3). Connect the HDMI cable into the HDMI port on your HD receiver or Blu-ray player. The HDMI cable provides both high definition audio and video signals from the hardware to the television.
- 4). Insert the opposite end of the HDMI cable into one of the HDMI ports on the Sony SXRD. Take into consideration the Sony 55 SXRD only has two HDMI cable inputs.
