How do I Hang Wallpaper on Window Blinds?

    • 1). Remove the strings from the blinds so you don't have to work around them. Wipe down and clean the individual slats to prepare them for the paper. Allow them to dry thoroughly before papering.

    • 2). Cut strips of paper the size of the slats, leaving a little extra. Make enough for both sides of the blinds and for mistakes.

    • 3). Dip the first strip into the water and place it on a flat surface. Daub any dry spots with the wet sponge. Fold the paper accordion style but don't make creases.

    • 4). Place the first end of the strip on the end of the blind slat. Press it down smoothly and fold back another section, smoothing the paper as you go. If there is a pattern or texture, place the paper on the slats in the same direction for uniformity. If there are air bubbles, they'll go away as the paper dries. Continue until the slat is covered.

    • 5). Set the blinds somewhere to dry and wait before papering the other side. Once the first side is dry, poke holes for the strings from the side without paper. When you paper the other side, poke holes from these holes.

    • 6). Trim the excess wallpaper from the ends of the slats so the paper sits evenly.

    • 7). Put the strings back through the blinds once you're finished will both sides of all the slats. Hang the blinds.
