How to Make Pasta Bake
- 1). Put four cups of water in a large pasta pot and bring to a boil. Preheat oven 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Add pasta when water is at a roiling boil, and boil uncovered for eight to 10 minutes, or until al dente.
- 2). Saute the ground beef and onions in the skillet while the pasta cooks. Saute meat until brown. Add mushrooms and saute until mushrooms are somewhat wilted. Add the spaghetti sauce and heat through.
- 3). Mix the spaghetti mixture and pasta in a the greased casserole dish. Top with the shredded mozzarella cheese.
- 4). Bake uncovered in the oven for 20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- 5). Carefully remove the casserole from the oven and allow it to cool for about five to eight minutes before serving.
