How to Use Hot Stuff Glue
- 1). Put together the parts that need to be glued before opening the bottle of glue. Or, get them set up so that you can work immediately once you open the glue bottle.
- 2). Place bottle of glue onto a flat surface, so that it's upright. Let it sit until the glue has drained from the upper spout down into the bottle.
- 3). Snip off about 1/16 of an inch off the top of the spout of the glue. If you need a larger hole, cut another 1/16 of an inch off the top.
- 4). Apply a small amount of the instant glue to where it needs to go, such as in a crack or joint in a woodworking project.
- 5). Hold the parts together with the glue and allow it to set for about five seconds. It may take longer to cure if the materials are porous.
- 6). Place the snap-on cap over the spout of the glue when finished. This will keep the glue ready for use.
