1999 Toyota Corolla Stereo Removal

    • 1). Park the Corolla on level ground.

    • 2). Pull out both air vents located underneath the stereo, to reveal the bolts that are attached to the top center console. Use the trim tool as needed.

    • 3). Remove the bolts with a cross-head screwdriver, counterclockwise, and pull out the console and the stereo. On some 1999 Corolla models there may be extra screws surrounding the stereo that you will also need to remove.

    • 4). Pull out the wiring and aerial found at the back of the stereo to completely disconnect the stereo from the Corolla.
