Among the various methods to treat acne scars, vinegar is one of the most effective methods.
The most preferred one is apple cider vinegar.
It can be used both locally as well as orally.
It is prepared by the fermentation of apple juice.
The sugar in the juice is broken down into alcohol by the bacteria and yeast.
On further action, the alcohol is oxidised to acetic acid (vinegar).
Most of the skin ailments including scars left by acne can be healed by helping the skin rejuvenate itself and aiding the natural healing process.
Our body chooses to vent out the accumulated toxins through the skin when the natural passage of the intestines do not do the process of elimination due to clogging and blockage.
Thus, the skin becomes a major outlet of toxins increasing the possibility of acne break out and further scarring.
Apple Cider vinegar functions like a laxative and can be used in detoxification.
It also serves as a good recipe for digestive disorders.
Once the elimination channels are cleared up, the toxins can be easily drained out of the system.
Hence, the skin can carry out its normal rejuvenation and healing act without having to worry about draining out the toxins.
The vinegar can also be applied locally on the skin where there is scarring.

A combination of both could be recommended.
Precautions before Usage: 1) People allergic to apples may not use this method 2) The apple cider vinegar could be very sensitive on some skins.
It would be recommended to use a lower concentration by diluting the vinegar solution with some water.
3) It is not recommended for usage on burns and cut or open wounds.
4) It may not be the one stop quick solution to treat acne scars.
5) Deep scars may not be treated with this method.
