    • 1). Apply sunless tanner to your skin. It's important to find one that is for facial skin, since formulas for the body may have pore-clogging ingredients. Sunless tanner will not completely conceal acne marks, but will make them appear less noticeable. Apply it in the evening one to two days per week. Any residue can be washed off in the morning.

    • 2). Use concealer to cover post acne marks. This is really the most effective method to cover marks on your skin. The best one to use will depend on your skin tone, skin type and condition of your skin in general. Try to find one that is best suited for blemish marks and not primarily used to cover under-eye circles. Dab a bit of the concealer on the blemish marks. Use a patting motion to blend it into your skin.

    • 3). Apply foundation to your skin using a cosmetic sponge. The type of foundation used depends on your skin type and tone, and whether your skin is dry or oily. As your skin is likely acne-prone, select a foundation that is "oil free". Add a small amount to the sponge and sweep it across the skin gently. It's best to start with a small amount and add more as needed.

    • 4). Use powder to set your foundation and concealer. As with concealer and foundation, the brand used will depend on your needs. The best kind to use is a loose powder. Use a large makeup brush to dust the powder onto your skin. Pay special attention to areas that may be oily or shiny. You may also use pressed powder if you need to touch up your makeup throughout the day.
