How to Make Seashell Night-Lights
- 1). Mix bleach and water in equal parts. Add the shell; let it soak until the outer layer flakes off. Remove the shell and rinse it in water. Let it dry thoroughly.
- 2). Remove the cover from the night-light clip.
- 3). Glue the seashell to the clip with epoxy. Allow the glue to dry before adding it to the night-light.
- 1). Clean the sea urchin shell by soaking it in a mixture of bleach and water in equal parts. Let it dry thoroughly.
- 2). Apply small dots of glue along the curve of the shell. Sprinkle with glitter; shake off the excess. Allow the glitter to dry thoroughly. For the best results, use the finer glitter commonly used in scrapbooking and card making.
- 3). Spray the glittered shell with acrylic sealer, if desired. This will keep the glitter from flaking off as easily.
- 4). Place the longer prong on the LED light on the positive side of the battery and the shorter prong on the negative side. Use electrical tape to hold them in place.
- 5). Carefully insert the LED light into the hole in the bottom of the sea urchin.
