I'm Lindsey Ralston, and this is how to make driftwood into home d¨¦cor. I love this project it is insanely easy you just have to get over your fear of maybe using a drill press or a hand drill but this project is super fun. Go to the beach, find a piece of driftwood that you love and we're gonna make that into a tea light holder. Lets go ahead and get started and we'll be done in about 5 minutes flat. So you're going to go out to where your drill press is and you want to go ahead and install your 1 5/8s Forstner bit which is gonna make the hole that fits the tea light. So go ahead and install that in your drill press get that all setup and what you'll notice with the tea light and the Forstner bit is the thickness of it is about the height you want to fit your tea light so you don't it to go any deeper into the wood. Take your piece of driftwood put it onto your drill press and go ahead take flip on the drill press and go ahead and take it nice all the way down until you get it drilling into the driftwood to the depth that you want which is essentially flush with the top of that Forstner bit. Now that you're done with that get your driftwood aside, pop in your tea light. get your lighter out, light that baby up and you now have a piece of driftwood that you've made into home d¨¦cor.
