How to Wash Feet for a Wedding
- 1). Fill a shallow basin or bucket with warm water. Add mineral bath salts or sea salt and essential oil like mint or eucalyptus to the water. Sit with your feet in the basin and allow them to soak for a few minutes.
- 2). Empty the basin and refill it. Holding your feet over the water, wash them with soap or a foot scrub. You can buy foot scrubs in any pharmacy or make your own at home. Mix 1 cup of sea salt or epsom salt with 1/2 cup of water and and an essential oil that you like. Olive oil works as well. Rub this paste on your feet in a circular motion. Be careful not to rub too forcefully. Rinse off your feet.
- 3). Exfoliate the rough parts of your feet with a pumice stone. Gently rub your soles and along the sides of each foot with the stone. It is important not to rub for too long or too roughly. Rinse your feet in clean warm water.
- 4). Dry off your feet and moisturize them. Let the moisturize set in before you walk around, or you risk slipping and falling.
