    • 1). Drain all of the water from the pool. Wait until the pool is completely dry.

    • 2). Remove leaves and other debris from the pool using a broom. Clean the swimming pool using a pressure washer. Wait for the pool to dry out.

    • 3). Abrade the swimming pool to promote adhesion by sanding it. Skip this step if the pool is concrete.

    • 4). Pour two to three gallons of Aqua Luster acrylic pool paint into a 5-gallon bucket. Attach the roller to an extension pole.

    • 5). Coat the walls of the swimming pool with Aqua Luster. Coat every wall before moving on to the pool floor.

    • 6). Coat the swimming pool floor with Aqua Luster. Begin at the far end of the pool, and work moving backward toward the pool's exit point.

    • 7). Wait a full day before filling the pool.
