How to Repair a Vista OS
- 1). Access the computer menu. Click on the Windows icon in the bottom left corner of your screen. Select "Computer."
- 2). Move your mouse over the disk you need to repair and right-click on it. Most of the time, this will be the C drive. Select "Properties" from the menu.
- 3). Access the "Tools" tab. Go to "Error-checking" and select "Check Now." Enable both automatic error fixing and recovery of bad sectors.
- 4). Select "Start." Wait for the process to complete. You will receive a break-down of what issues were fixed. You may have to restart your computer after the scan.
