How to Program a Blackberry Pearl on a Bell
- 1). Contact Bell Mobility and request the Master Subsidy Lock (MSL) code for the phone. Turn the phone on by pressing and holding the "End Call" key on the phone. Press "##" and type the MSL. Press the "Talk" key on the keyboard.
- 2). Roll the trackball to highlight the "Mobile Directory Number" field. Click in the field and type the 10-digit telephone number of the BlackBerry Pearl. The number should be listed on the receipt for the phone or contact the Bell Mobility customer service to get the phone number.
- 3). Roll the trackball to highlight the "IMSI_S" field. Click the field and type the 10-digit telephone number of the device. Contact Bell Mobility customer service to make certain this is the correct number. Customer service may also refer to this number as the "MSID."
- 4). Press the trackball in and select "Save." The BlackBerry will turn off and turn back on. When the device turns back on, press the BlackBerry key. Roll the trackball to select "Options" and choose "Advance Options" from the menu. Roll the trackball and select "Host Routing Table." Press the BlackBerry key and select "Register Now" to register the device on the BlackBerry network.
