How to Change the SIM Card in a Blackberry Curve
- 1). Close and save any applications or programs you are running, and then hold the "Power" button to shut the Blackberry Curve off.
- 2). Turn the Curve over. Locate the Blackberry icon on the back. This is the battery door release button. Push and hold the button and lift the battery door off.
- 3). Lift the battery out of its compartment. You'll see the SIM card beneath. It's a small, rectangular card stuck in a slot.
- 4). Apply your finger to the top edge of the SIM card and slide it out of its slot. Insert the new SIM card into the slot in the same way the other was inserted. The metal contacts should go into the slot face-first.
- 5). Insert the battery. Ensure it's in the original position. The metal contacts on the battery should be touching the metal contacts in the battery compartment. Place the battery door back onto the battery compartment. Push downward to snap the cover on.
