How to Draw An Animal Cell Without Labels
- 1). Draw a circle on a piece of paper, taking up most of the space.
- 2). Follow the outline of your shape exactly, and draw another shape just inside it, about 1/4 inch from the outer outline. This shape represents the cell membrane, or lipid bilayer, of the cell.
- 3). Draw a circle inside the cell measuring about one-sixth its size. Draw another circle right inside this circle. This structure represents the nucleus.
- 4). Draw a small circle inside the nucleus about one-sixth its size. This structure represents the nucleolus.
- 5). Draw several sausage-like shapes throughout the cell, about the size of the nucleolus. These structures represent mitochondria.
- 6). Draw next to the nucleus a structure that looks like a stack of pancakes from the side and is about half the size of the nucleus. This structure represents the Golgi apparatus.
- 7). Draw a thin ribbon-like structure attached to the nucleus and folded on itself right next to it. Add many small dots to the distal third of this structure, which represents the endoplasmic reticulum with attached ribosomes.
- 8). Draw several small circles throughout the cell to represent lysosomes.
- 9). Draw several thin, long, straight lines throughout the cell to represent microtubules.
