DIY: Washi Tape Pencil Teacher's Gift

We're so excited to meet our new teachers for the school year! To get us ready to go to school on the first day, we're making a few fun pencil crafts to gift to our teachers. Our teachers do so much for us and we love to show them how much we care. Personalize these fun pencils with washi tape and let them know they're loved. 

Here's the step-by-step instructions to make these washi tape pencils for teacher:

Supplies: Washi Tape Pencil Teacher's Gift

 Supplies: 

• washi tape
• pencils
• scissors
• black permanent marker

Step 1: Washi Tape Pencil Teacher's Gift

Stretch out your washi tape about 3 inches long and place your pencil in the middle of the tape. Fold over the tape and close it on itself to seal it. 

Step 2: Washi Tape Pencil Teacher's Gift

Using scissors, cut a fun little indented triangle into the end of the washi tape flag. 

Step 3: Washi Tape Pencil Teacher's Gift

With your black marker, add some text to the washi tape flags. We added:

Add a piece of twine or ribbon to your pencils and they are ready to gift to teacher.
