A Bounty of Bead and Wire Necklaces is written by Nathalie Mornu and published by Lark Jewelry and Beading. In the US, it retails for $19.95, and in Canada it retails for $23.95. It is has a paperback cover and is 160 pages long. I have already reviewed two other companion books to this one, A Bounty of Bead and Wire Bracelets and A Bounty of Bead and Wire Earrings, and since they are set up basically the same, I will get right to the projects.
The Necklace Projects
Of course, as the subtitle (50 Fun, Fast Jewelry Projects) explains, there are 50 necklace projects in this book. Like the other two books, not all of the projects use wire and beads. Some use beads and chain or mainly beads. A necklace by Cynthia Deis entitled "Lace" uses a little wire to wrap beads around a filigree focal piece, but the rest of the necklace (which I love) is made up of chain and jump rings for the most part. "Turquoise Spikes" uses no wire, and then right before that comes a necklace project that is almost all wire, "Orbital." I point this out because some might think all the projects use beads and wire, but there is a mix.
Final Thoughts
If you like either of the other two books in this series, then you will also like this one. Twenty-eight designers participated in this project (not including the author), so there are plenty of different styles to pick from.
