    Code 11379 Section (a)

    • Code 11379 section (a) outlines criminal offenses that occur with the illegal handling of controlled substances. It forbids the transport, sale, administration or provision of substances to any other person in California. Code 11379 outlines and identifies specific drug classifications covered under this law. Individuals who violate Code 11379 without a written prescription from doctors, dentists, podiatrists or veterinarians are subject to state imprisonment for up to two to four years.
