Take your list to the Victoria County Archives, located downtown at 205 W. Goodwin Ave. The archive staff is very helpful and will locate the blueprints for you very easily if they exist. If copies are needed, an archive clerk will take the blueprints to Victoria Blueprint to have copies made. This typically costs $5-$8. - 3

If the blueprints you are searching for no longer exist, tell the archive clerks about the house you are interested in and provide a picture if you have one. They may know of a similar house for which they do have blueprints. Many builders at the turn of the 20th century used standard building plans and simply added their own embellishments. - 4). Look through historic plan books, such as "American Victorian Cottage Homes," a reproduction of architectural firm Palliser, Palliser & Co.'s 1878 catalog. Palliser plans were purchased and used by many builders of that era.
