    • Recommended by the Denver Rose Society in 1999, Golden Showers is hardy in U.S. Department of Agriculture plant hardiness zones 4a through 10b, which means it can tolerate temperatures as low as minus 25 degrees Fahrenheit.

    • The Golden Showers yellow climbing rose has received several horticultural awards over the years. It was an All-American Rose Selection is 1956, a Portland Gold Medal winner in 1957 and winner of the English Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit in 1993.

    Features

    • Golden Showers produces yellow, semidouble, ruffled blooms that have a mild licorice scent. The plant reaches a height of 10 to 14 feet. It is easily grown on trellises, pillars and walls, and blooms continuously throughout the season.
