How to Avoid Being Ripped Off - Get a Free iPhone 4
Many websites look like they will give you an iPhone free of charge - great lets sign up..
..
STOP! 5 things to look out for when trying to spot a scam site: 1: Do I have to enter my details to see if I qualify? (Everyone qualifies so don't even bother...
) 2: Look at the text, see if there is an asterisk (*) next to a word, find out what the small print says...
3: Note down the domain name and/or network they claim to use, open a new window and type the name in and the word "reviews" - see what other people think 4: Look for a proof page and how trustworthy it looks 5: Sound too good to be true? It probably is! Why sign up to a website that you don't know anything about and give your information to a complete stranger? I have done some research on a number of freebie networks that have a large user base and many users post time and time again to forums showing the free gifts they have received from that network.
My chosen network is FreebieJeebies (although I shall soon be testing Kudos too) - they have a number of fans that swear by them and many users posting to forums time and time again with proof pics of the free gifts they have received.
As a FreebieJeebies user I can verify that it's not something for nothing - you do have to work, you promote the offers the network runs (for example a free lovefilm trial) and when someone completes that from your referral link you get credited.
You WILL need to work hard to promote these offers but you WILL reap the rewards once you know what you are doing.
Good luck in your search for a free iPhone 4 (or whatever you want) and avoid the scams!
