Goal Setting - Financial Freedom
Many people join internet marketing so that they can quit their day job, normally in hopes of becoming financially free.
But what does being financially free actually mean.
I have seen some discussion about this subject lately and decided to check it out a bit.
To me, financial freedom, is the luxury of not having to worry about waking up to make it to work on time to work for someone else, and not having to worry about how much something costs.
Remember though, only you can decide for yourself if you are financially free.
Many people list 'financial freedom' as a goal, something that are going to be working towards day after day, but do they know what this goal actually means? Have they put a number on the work they are doing so hard to achieve this outcome? In many situations these people become discouraged if they are not financially free within their set time period, but as your lifestyle changes so will your needs, so it is more effective, to set material goals as your financial freedom.
For example Having No Debt could be your long term goal, but for your own sanity, make some short term goals, like paying off your car loan.
Otherwise it will feel like you are trying to drag down a brick wall with a spoon.
Even if you set your first goal as, making your first $1,000 in a month, it is much more satisfying to reach a small milestone, than to struggle for what feels like an eternity for a lager one.
Goals are an extremely important part of any progress you hope to achieve in life, they are the driving power of WHY we do what we do.
My first goal was make $1,000 per month, and a sub goal of that was to make a sale that month.
Keeping focused on these goals you are able to achieve and even exceed them when you keep up consistent and focused action.
Do you have your goals posted down somewhere? Do you look at these and remember the reason you got into internet marketing in the first place?
