Green Ash Description

• Green ash can grow to be about 60 feet tall. They turn yellow in the fall, with much of their green remaining until leaf drop. Green ash is one of the earliest to turn color and drop its leaves in the fall. Its leaves are compound -- dark green and glossy on the upper surface and dark green and slightly fuzzy on the undersides. There are male and female trees, so if you're thinking of planting one, consider a seedless male tree so you'll have less cleanup to worry about.
