Draw a Jack-O-Lantern Cartoon

• 1). Draw a large, horizontal oval in graphite pencil. Draw a light vertical line down the center of the oval in graphite pencil.
  
  
• 2). Draw a small triangle in the center of the oval in graphite. Make sure that this triangle is bisected by the vertical line. This forms the nose of the Jack-O-Lantern
  
  
• 3). Draw two triangles in the top one third of the oval. Draw one on each side of the vertical line at a short distance away from it. Make these triangles with the graphite pencil.
  
  
• 4). Draw a small oval inside of each of the two triangles in the top of the pumpkin with the black colored pencil.
  
  
• 5). Shade in the small ovals inside of the triangles with the black colored pencil. Leave a small circle blank inside of each oval. This completes the eyes of the Jack-O-Lantern.
  
  
• 6). Draw a large crescent shape in the bottom half of the circle, beneath the nose of the Jack-O-Lantern in graphite.
  
  
• 7). Draw two small squares attached to the top of the crescent on its inside. Make one square on the right side and one on the left. Draw these shapes with the graphite pencil.
  
  
• 8). Draw a third square inside of the crescent. Make this square attached to the bottom of the crescent at the crescent's center. Draw this square with the graphite pencil.
  
  
• 9). Erase the lines of the crescent above the two top squares and below the bottom square. This completes the mouth of the Jack-O-Lantern. Erase the vertical line in the center of the Jack-O-Lantern.

  Color the Jack-O-Lantern in orange colored pencil. Color each of the squares in orange to form the teeth in the Jack-O-Lantern's mouth. Color inside of the mouth and nose with the black colored pencil. Add a short, arching line in brown colored pencil at the top of the Jack-O-Lantern to form its stem.
  
  

Draw a Ghost Cartoon

• 1). Draw a large oval in graphite pencil. Draw a small, diagonal oval at the bottom of the first oval. Draw a smaller, diagonal oval that touches the bottom of the second oval.
  
  
• 2). Draw a line around the top of the oval in black pencil. When your pencil reaches the second oval, follow its top to the third oval. Trace the top of the third oval.
  
  
• 3). Add a small, short, curving line at the end of the oval. Use this line to form one side of a pointed tip. This should look like a distorted, triangular shape. Extend this shape to the bottom of the smallest oval. Follow the bottoms of the small ovals until your pencil reaches the side of the first oval. Continue to trace the side of the first oval until you reach the start of your black line at the top.
  
  
• 4). Draw two small ovals in the top section of the first oval to form the eyes. Shade a smaller oval inside of each eye in black colored pencil, leaving a small circle blank in each one. Outline the eyes in black colored pencil.
  
  
• 5). Draw a small crescent about halfway down the large oval. Make the points of this crescent pointed and sharp. Shade inside of the crescent with black colored pencil. This forms the mouth of the ghost.
  
  
• 6). Erase all of the graphite pencil lines.
