Dating Is Like a Battery

Dating is very much similar to the life of a battery. They start of all exciting and powerful, they charge the emotions as a battery charges an appliance. Everything works well in the beginning you go on dates, and you just can't get enough of each other. Sparks fly all over the place and you feel dangerous. This goes on for about a year or so in most cases, although like dating every battery is different, and then your electricity begins to dwindle a little and not everything is quite as glamorous as it used to be.

Once the honeymoon phase of the battery is over, you begin to notice certain flaws in each other. The emotions don't quite run as well as they used to, and the way in which the sparks used to fly now starts to become a little lacklustre. Things don't run as smoothly as they once did either, you begin to argue as the battery begins to falter, and you both then start to wonder whether the relationship is worth it or not. Finding a good battery like a good partner can be tiresome and quite challenging. You want someone to fulfill your needs for a sustained period of time, you don't just want someone who will fill it for a short burst, and then flatter to deceive somewhat. So like a battery you have to ensure you have found the right partner.

Too many batteries these days run out too quickly. Now you can make a measured guess at which batteries are going to be the most reliable. For example if you look in the young brand of batteries, slightly cheaper than normal but full of promises, the likelihood is that they will give you the time of your life for 3 months and then run out of steam. If you look for the slightly more expensive battery, one that has a track record then it will probably last that bit longer, and keep you company for a number of years. And who knows you may even have it for the rest of your life, but the chances are this will run out too.

So it is worth investing in the best type of battery that money can afford, or in this case aim as high as you can. Why not aim for the best type of partner you can find and patience is a virtue, and good things come to those who wait. If you put the time and effort into choosing your batteries or partners you will reap the rewards.
