How to Sew with a White Superlock

• 1). Consult the instructional manual. Operating any kind of sewing machine properly requires having the instructions for your model. If you have purchased a White Superlock and have no instructions, you will need an instruction manual. You can contact the manufacturer or conduct an online search for a manual. Be careful to choose the manual that fits your particular model number.
  
  
• 2). Thread the machine. First, turn the handwheel to raise the needle bar to it's highest point. Features that make threading the White Superlock easier are the color coded thread guides, or paths that allow you to thread the lower and upper loopers. When getting familiar with the machine, choose colors of thread to closely match the thread guide. This will help you determine which thread goes to which tension guide.
  
  
• 3). Run the thread through the tension controls or guides. The tension guides are knobs with numbers that are used to adjust the tightness or looseness of the thread, which helps the machine sew a sturdy and consistent stitch.
